Dear Riverdale Parents, Hancock Public Health will be hosting a COVID vaccination clinic on Tuesday, May 25 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at the Hancock County Fairgrounds Old Millstream Building. This clinic will be offering the Pfizer vaccine to eligible persons ages 12 and up. Any person under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive vaccination, and parents must bring their ID. Eligible household members who are interested are also encouraged to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine, if they have not already. No children under age 12 will be allowed in the clinic. Please ensure no other vaccinations are given in the 14 days prior to and after receiving the COVID vaccine. Graduation will remain scheduled at 2:00 PM Sunday May 23, 2021 at the football field.

Class of 2022 Senior Trip meeting is tomorrow night at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. One parent/guardian and the student should plan to attend. Please contact Mrs Schlarb with questions.

Due to the Girls Softball District game at 4:00pm, the Senior Academic Awards program will now begin at 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 18th with pie being served by the Academic Boosters at 6:30pm. We apologize for any inconvenience. Go Falcons!!!!

The last day school for Riverdale students is Thursday, May 27th. School will be dismissed at 1:00pm .

Congratulations to High School ELA Teacher Corinne Boes. Mrs. Boes was recently named the Quest Federal Credit Union's Riverdale Teacher of the Year. She was recognized at a luncheon along with teachers chosen from the other schools in Hardin County. Great job Mrs. Boes!!!!

Class of 2022- Senior trip There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone attending the Senior Trip Class of 2022 on Thursday May 20th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. Contact Mrs Schlarb with any questions.

The National Robotics Challenge was held Saturday in Marion, OH, in which teams competed in different robot contests. Schools from all over the nation competed at this competition. The Riverdale Robotics team of Brekken Rall and Mike Galkiewicz won 1st place in combat robot. The Riverdale Robotics team of Shawn Tackett and Weston Reed won 7th in combat robot. The Riverdale Robotics team of Jackson Clark, Ben Schlarb, Robbie Digby, Trevor Hattery, and Isaac Holland won 6th in the robo hockey challenge. Congratulations to all our students who participated and their teacher Mr. Brown.

Ball Metal Community Recycling today and tomorrow! Please help our seniors participate in next year’s scholarship program. All cans need to be bagged and place in bright green dumpster.

RHS competed at this year's Hancock Co. Mathematics competition (L to R: Johanna Thacker, David Borkosky, Sydney Bickford, and Carollanne Gessner). Students competed as individuals with other local schools for an opportunity to win a small scholarship. Way to go, Falcons!

Seniors-     In honor of your graduation, we will be hosting a car parade on May 22nd at 2pm! In order to plan for the parade we need to know if you are interested in participating,  please complete the form that you received via email before 3pm on Monday, May 10th.

Prom update: Due to other activities please do not plan on taking pictures at the country club. Also if at all possible carpool due to parking being very limited.
