Attention Students and Parents going on the 8th Grade Washington DC trip!!! A few important reminders! 1. Chaperones-if you are getting your BCI/FBI checks done at the school, they will ask you to fill out a volunteer form to fill out so you can be board approved to go on the trip. If you are going elsewhere to get this check, PLEASE EMAIL Mrs. Wehrle so she can send a volunteer sheet home with your student so you can be on this board approved list. If you don't have your FBI/BCI check, or the volunteer sheet turned in for board approval, you will not be permitted to go, even if you're paid in full.......so this is VERY IMPORTANT. 2. The next payment of $175 for both chaperones and students is due to Mrs. Wehrle on Friday, Jan. 27 by 3pm. Payments can be made anytime until then, before or after school, or in between classes. Checks or money orders to Riverdale School, or cash is accepted. 3. Arlington National Cemetery Wreath Laying Essays are due Friday, Feb. 10 by 3pm to Mrs. Wehrle. If you would like to be considered to be one of the 4 students who get to place the Riverdale wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery, this essay needs to be done and given to Mrs. Wehrle by the above date. Details were in the packet sent home on Jan. 5. 4. Medical/Special Needs forms as well as Food Restrictions/Preference forms are due to Mrs. Wehrle by Fri. Mar. 24 at 3pm. These also came home in the packet with the students on Jan 5. As always, if you have any questions, please email Mrs. Wehrle at awehrle@riverdalefalcons.org.
