Agricultural Education

The Agricultural Education program has three components:
Classroom/Laboratory, Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and FFA.
Each component is essential to a quality program.
Riverdale FFA was established in 1963.
The chapter is made up of 58 students in grades 8-12.
Courses taught in Riverdale's Agricultural Education Program:
7th Grade: Introduction to Agriculture (Nine Weeks Wheel)
8th Grade: Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources
9th Grade: Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources
10th Grade: Livestock Science
11th Grade: Ag Business Management
12th Grade: Ag Communications and Leadership 
Past alumni, parents, and community members are also welcomed to join the Riverdale FFA Alumni. The alumni is a support group for the students currently enrolled in Agricultural Education.
